The structure of a training session

Do the hard things when you have the best focus

We usually divide training sessions into four parts:

  1. Warm up

    1. Preparing your body to perform and move well. This can include a common warm up and play as well as individual activation/priming of weak areas.

  2. Primary work

    1. Learning new stuff

    2. Do the most technically demanding movements

    3. No chatting in between sets - it is of course ok to talk about the exercise, but try to keep the pace and remain fully focused!

  3. Secondary work

    1. Less technical work, but can still be very taxing/demanding on the body

  4. Accessory work

    1. Work on smaller muscles and isolated movements

    2. Stretching and recovery
